A five-page business website in Delhi NCR costs ₹15,000–40,000 one-time where you supply your own content, plus ₹3,000–6,000 a year for domain and hosting, plus 18% GST. Use the calculator below for your specific requirement, then read what drives the number.

Work out your own number
Add the base, then the modifiers. This is the same arithmetic the calculator runs.
Step 1: Base by site type
| Site type | Base range |
|---|---|
| One-page landing page | ₹8,000–15,000 |
| Business / brochure site, up to 5 pages | ₹15,000–25,000 |
| Business site, 6–10 pages | ₹25,000–40,000 |
| Online store, up to 50 products | ₹60,000–1,20,000 |
| Online store, 200+ products with variants | ₹1,00,000 upward |
| Custom booking system or web application | Quoted individually |
Step 2: Add for what you don’t supply
| Add-on | Add |
|---|---|
| Content written for you (per page) | ₹1,500–3,000 |
| Product photography session | Quoted; phone photos are free and often better |
| Product entry, per product | Ask for the rate — 5–15 min each |
| Business email setup | Small, or included |
| Extra pages beyond the quote | Ask for a per-page rate |
| Multilingual (second full language) | Roughly doubles content work |
| Payment gateway integration | Usually in a store base |
| Booking or appointment system | ₹15,000 upward |
Step 3: Add the yearly costs
| Item | Yearly |
|---|---|
| Domain | ₹700–1,200 |
| Hosting (small site) | A few thousand |
| Hosting (store) | Higher |
| SSL | Free with most hosting — query any recurring charge |
| Maintenance / AMC (optional) | ₹15,000–30,000 |
Step 4: Add 18% GST
Most quotes are stated exclusive. ₹25,000 becomes ₹29,500. If your business is GST-registered, input credit generally makes it a cash-flow item rather than a cost — check with your CA.
Step 5: The number nobody calculates
Getting found. Building the site and getting people to it are two separate purchases. A workable split is roughly two-thirds of your total to the build and one-third to reach over the first three months.
High-intent service queries in NCR carry top-of-page bids of about ₹20–190, so even a modest test produces a real cost-per-enquiry figure within two weeks. Skip this line and you’ll have a working site with an empty inbox.
What actually drives the number
Ranked by how much they move it:
- Whether you supply the content. The single biggest swing. Text and photographs for six pages is either your afternoon or someone’s paid work.
- Number of products, on a store. Entry is five to fifteen minutes each and almost never included.
- Page count — but less than you’d think. Five pages that sell beat twelve nobody opens.
- Original design vs an adapted template. A well-adapted template is right for most businesses.
- Functionality — payments, bookings, logins, integrations. Genuine complexity, genuinely more.
- Who builds it — freelancer, small studio, agency. Same product, different overhead.
What the number should include at any price
Before you accept a quote, confirm these. All are free for a vendor to grant:
- Domain registered in your name, in your account — the most important one
- Year-two cost stated for domain, hosting and maintenance
- Named page list — not “up to 5 pages”
- Revision rounds as a number
- A delivery date, with “live” defined
- GST invoice, or a written bill on letterhead
- Post-launch change rate and response time
A quote missing the first two isn’t comparable to one that has them, whatever the figures say.
Sanity-check your quote
| Your quote vs the range | What to do |
|---|---|
| Well below | Ask what’s excluded — usually content, revisions, support, and the domain in your name |
| Inside the range | Compare on the seven terms above, not on price |
| Well above | Ask what the extra buys specifically. Content and project management are real; vagueness isn’t |
| A single number, no split | Ask for it itemised with the provider named for each line |
What to do this week
- Run your requirement through the steps above and write down your range.
- Send three vendors an identical named page list and ask for the total with GST.
- Ask every vendor for the year-two figure in writing.
- Decide your third number — what you’ll spend on reach — before finalising the build.
- Register your domain in your own account, about ₹1,000, before hiring anyone.
If you want it done the certain way
Send us your requirement and you’ll get the build price, the year-two total including GST, and what reach would cost — three numbers, in one reply, before you commit. Domain in your name. WhatsApp us; we reply in about five minutes between 9am and 7pm.

FAQ
How much should a website cost for my business in India?
A five-page business site where you supply content runs ₹15,000–25,000 in Delhi NCR; six to ten pages ₹25,000–40,000; a store from ₹60,000. Add domain, hosting and 18% GST, plus a separate budget for getting found.
What makes a website cost more?
Content written for you is the biggest factor, then product entry on a store, then functionality like payments or bookings. Page count matters less than people assume.
Are domain and hosting included in a website quote?
Sometimes for year one, often not — and the year-two figure is rarely stated. Ask for it in writing; its absence is the most reliable predictor of renewal surprise.
Is GST extra on a website quote?
Usually yes, at 18%. Ask for the total payable. If your business is GST-registered, input credit generally offsets it.
